For over 12 years, Cooreman Real Estate Group, Inc (CREG) has been building neighborhoods with distinction in northwest St. Joseph County. Steve Cooreman, founder and president, launched the company with a goal to responsibly develop (what has become) a major growth area in Michiana.
The Cooreman tradition began in farming. This family life gave Steve an appreciation for land and its natural beauty. Steve approaches the "art of creating neighborhoods" with a passion for detail... taking extra care to preserve as many trees as possible, to protect surrounding natural wetlands, and to add landscaping features that improve the ecology of the neighborhood.
Steve's background includes 16 years in corporate America, prior to beginning CREG. His experience in sales and real estate gives him an understanding of the principles needed to form a successful company.

Steve was a member of the Area Planning Committee of St. Joseph County, a board member of the St. Joseph County Home Builders Association, a fellow at Trinity School, and a past Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International. He is also a member of Granger Community Church, and is a founder of the Giving Kids a Future project.
